In the context of the exhibition Generations of Resilience, Hangar has invited the artist Georges Rousse to transform his installation, originally created for his previous show.
Inspired by the spaces of Hangar, Georges Rousse conjured a yellow circle, resembling a “sun”, later modified with a blue semi-circle to symbolize the colors of the Ukrainian flag.
This special edition print is on sale at Hangar. Proceeds will be donated to MOKSOP (Museum of the Kharkiv School of Photography) in order to purchase packaging material for archives and digitize its extensive collection, which comprises 5,000 prints and about 70,000 film negatives from both established and emerging artists.
Due to the war escalation in Ukraine, the museum's collection was evacuated in March 2022 to Germany and Austria where the artworks currently reside.

Edition of 50 - each print is numbered from 1 to 50.
