Claudia Jaguaribe / Quando eu vi

€30.00

Quando Eu Vi takes a look at landscape photography, capturing the Brazilian woodlands while using the concept of contemplation by contemporary society. This project began in 2004, and proposes a revised look at the concept of natural landscape, or the limits of the natural.
Brazil is one of the last remaining countries where it is possible to experience nature that is untouched and on the threshold of transformation. This work reflects upon that moment where photography becomes a composition of hybrid landscapes, and the spectator participates in their own configuration of the image.

Texts: Laymert Garcia dos Santos et Juliana Monachesi.
Punctun Editions
Multilingual : English and Portuguese

17 x 23 cm
212 pages.
