Yann Laubscher
About Yann Laubscher
After studying natural sciences, Yann Laubscher trained in photography at the School of Applied Arts in Vevey. He wrote his thesis on the link between exploration and photography. His documentary approach focuses on the relationship between humans and nature. His work has been exhibited in Switzerland, France, Serbia, and Russia. He was awarded the Clara Camera Photo Prize for his series The Call. In 2016, he won the Globetrotter World Photo prize, which gave him the funds needed to undertake a project in Siberia. He is also in charge of environmental education at La Maison de la Rivière. He teaches about nature and is a member of NEAR and Strates, an association that includes several photographers.
