About Terje Abusdal

Terje Abusdal (NO, 1978) lives and works in Oslo (NO). He studied at the KMD Art Academy of Bergen (NO), La Cambre in Brussels (BE), and the Danish School of Media and Journalism in Aarhus (DK). His photographs have won a number of prizes, including the Leica Oscar Barnack Award and the Fotogalleriet’s Nordic Dummy Award (NO) in 2017. He also has a number of books to his credit, in particular Slash & Burn (2018). His latest publication, Hope Blinds Reason (2019), won the prize for Norway’s most beautiful book in 2020. Terje Abusdal has exhibited in particular at the Bergen Kunsthall (NO), the Henie Onstad Kunstsenter (Oslo, NO) and the Mattatoio di Roma (IT).
