Born in 1982 in the United Kingdom. Lives and works in Wales, United Kingdom. Before embarking on a career in photography, Philip Hatcher-Moore studied IT at the University of Sheffield, where he began a doctorate in Artificial Intelligence before taking up a position as the technical director of an Internet start-up in Paris. Philip Hatcher-Moore was based in Kenya for five years, where he covered political and social topics, as well as conflicts. Since returning to the United Kingdom in 2016, his work has focused in particular on the relationship between man and the environment. His work has been published in leading newspapers and magazines all over the world, from the New York Times to Vanity Fair. Philip Hatcher-Moore has won awards at major international photojournalism competitions and has been exhibited around the world.
