About Olaf Otto Becker
Olaf Otto Becker (DE, 1959) lives and works in Bad Tölz (DE). He studied communication and design (Augsburg), then philosophy and political science (Munich). He combines a personal and documentary approach to lift the lid on sociocultural issues, especially those linked to the environment and the theme of “Landscape”. His projects are usually the subject of a publication: Broken Line (2007) – Above Zero (2009) – Under the Nordic Line (2011) – Reading the Landscape (2014) – Illulisat (2017) – Siberian Summer (2020). His works are on display all over the world at international photography festivals, as well as in museums and galleries. They are also featured in numerous private and public collections.
