Mathieu Bernard-Reymond
After studying literature, political science, and art history, Mathieu Bernard-Reymond turned to photography at the CEPV (Centre d’Enseignement Professionnel de Vevey, Switzerland). Since then, he has explored new forms of imagery and innovative practices introduced by the digital age while maintaining a photographic approach.
Mathieu Bernard-Reymond teaches digital practices at the CEPV. He has received numerous awards, including the HSBC Prize in 2003 and the Arcimboldo Prize in 2009. His work has been exhibited at the Rencontres de la Photographie in Arles in 2005 and at Paris Photo in 2006. His pieces are part of prestigious collections such as the Musée Nicéphore Niepce (France), Photo Élysée (Switzerland), the French National Contemporary Art Fund, and the Contemporary Art Fund of Lausanne (Switzerland).
