Eric Guglielmi

About Eric Guglielmi

Eric Guglielmi (FR, 1970 – 2021) was a self-taught photojournalist and publisher. He divided his time between South America and Africa from 1990 to 2000. His work is based on a process organized around walking, waiting, and observation. His profound knowledge of social and political realities enabled him to adopt an attentive and vigilante posture in the face of reality and its inconsistencies. He exhibited recently at the CNAP (Paris, 2016), and the Maison Robert Doisneau (Gentilly, 2018), as well as at Neimenster Abbey (Luxembourg, 2019). His works are part of several public and private collections, in particular those of the BNF and FMAC Gentilly. In 2010, he created Gang, a publishing house. He died at a relative young age in June 2021. Exhibiting these eight works, borrowed from the CNAP, is an opportunity to pay homage to Eric Guglielmi.
