About Enrique Ramirez

Enrique Ramírez (CL, 1979) lives and works in Paris and Santiago in Chile. He studied popular music and cinema in Chile before joining the Studio National des Arts Contemporains - Le Fresnoy (Tourcoing, FR) in 2007. In 2013, he won the Prix des Amis du Palais de Tokyo (Paris, FR). In 2014, he received the Loop Fair Prize (Barcelona, ES). His video, Jardins migratoires, was exhibited at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie in Arles (ENSP) as part of the Rencontres d’Arles festival in 2021. A retrospective of his work will be staged at the Fresnoy, Studio National des Arts Contemporains, Tourcoing (FR), from 4th February to 30th April 2022.
