Benjamin Deroche (FR, 1981) lives and works between Brest and Paris. Initially, he studied literature and art before turning to the science of photographic language in 2003. He bases his work essentially on his relationship with nature. The process he uses is more emotional than conceptual. He has exhibited in France, mainly in Brittany, as well as the Maison Européenne de la Photographie (Paris, 2008), the Festival de La Gallicy (2016), the Rencontres d’Arles (2016), at the Van Gogh space in Arles (2018) and at Jumièges Abbey (2020). His work is included in a number of public and private collections and is also the subject of several publications.
